Intercoms come in several versions:

Audio Only Intercoms

These are standard intercoms with a door/gate station and a handset located inside the building/offices. When talking with the visitor, you are able to press a button on the handset to unlock the door/gate to allow the visitor to enter. 

Audio/Video Intercoms

Basically the same as the audio intercom, with the advantage of having a camera built into the door/gate station and a small LCD monitor built into the handset. This allows you to see who is at the door/gate whilst speaking to them.

Intercom systems can consist of a  single unit or multiple units with systems able to be designed to have up to 8 door/gate stations and 100's of handsets. Interfaces to electronic access control systems enable the monitoring and unlocking of multiple doors/gates and lift levels. 

Telecommunication Intercoms

These are special audio only intercoms that connect to a Telecom land-line. The unit dials a pre-programmed phone number (local, national, international, or mobile) when the enter code is entered. When conversing with the visitor at the intercom, the door/gate can be released by pressing the "9" key on you phone.

Access Control

Premises and personnel management has become a complex issue and the ability to react instantly in order to retain control over whom and when access is gained is imperative, particularly for multi-user buildings and open access institutions.

The solution is the installation of an access control system capable of reading all types of card or tag technology to accommodate the specific requirements of individual clients. Our systems offer proximity tags and cards, biometric recognition, smart card or simple digital keypad and it should be noted that several different technologies can be incorporated into the same system.

Access control systems installed by us can range from a single door control system, with the potential to expand without redundancy to a multiple site computer based solution, operated with Microsoft WindowsTM approved software. This modular approach offers additional features including; Photo ID Card printing, Remote Site Modem link, Alarm monitoring and time & attendance

Finally, due consideration must be given to the integration with Fire Alarms, CCTV systems and to the locks and mundane but essential door hardware that the system will be expected to control. These issues are so often overlooked in the rush to get the electronics and software installed. Security Alarm Monitoring Options

 Allsafe Security Group Ltd is pleased to offer the following Security Alarm Monitoring options for your consideration:  

A.  Activations Only

 Under this option we monitor your alarm, by alarm zone, for any burglary, robbery or smoke detector type activations, limited always to the types of detection devices fitted to your particular alarm system. Upon an activation signal being received, we will action this in accordance with your written instructions. 

$30.00 per month plus GST

D.  Activations plus Fully Scheduled Unset & Set

$45.00 per month plus GST  

Under this option we monitor your alarm, by alarm zone, for any burglary, robbery or smoke detector type activations, limited always to the types of detection devices fitted to your particular alarm system. Upon an activation signal being received, we will action this in accordance with your written instructions. 

In addition, we will monitor: 

  • Alarm Set signals to ensure that the system has been set at the time prescribed by you, (within an operational time window of 30 minutes). Should the alarm not be set within the appropriate time we will action this in accordance with your written instructions. Any unscheduled set signal will be responded to accordingly.
  • Alarm Unset signals to ensure that the system has been unset at the time prescribed by you, (within an operational time window of 30 minutes). Should the alarm not be unset within the appropriate time we will action this in accordance with your written instructions. Any unscheduled unset signal will be responded to accordingly.
  • Alarm reset following an activation
  • A system test signal every 24 hours
  • System maintenance alarms  

Additional Areas (Partitions) 

Where an alarm system requires additional areas (partitions) to be monitored, each additional area will charged at the rate of $10.00 per month plus GST. 

Security Response

The services offered are for the electronic monitoring of your alarm system only and attendance at the alarmed premises following an alarm activation is not included in our responsibilities. For attendances we recommend that arrangements be made with a Security Response Service company. 

Monitoring will ensure that prompt action is taken to inform your Security Response Company, and/or your designated key holders that your alarm has been activated. 

Event Reporting 

Hard copy reports are supplied as and when requested at a cost of $10.00 plus GST, per report. 

Telephone Line 

In order for monitoring services to be available to you it is necessary that your alarm be fitted with a digital communicator and be connected to one of your telephone lines. Should additional equipment be required, or the telephone line connection needs to be established, we would be pleased to quote for this aspect. 

Alternative Path Monitoring 

Permaconn provides us a method of transmitting Alarm Signals to the Monitoring Station via a dedicated section of the Vodafone Network and/or IP. This provides an alternative path to transmit Alarm Signals to the Monitoring Station in the event that there is no Telecom phone line on site. There are several options available and will be priced dependent on your requirements.
